Apple have advised customers who use its iPhone 3G or 3GS to use their phones in reasonable temperatures of between 0 and 35 degrees centigrade. Environments with temperatures above or below these guidelines are likely to experience a shorter battery life span and it may even cause the phone to stop working although only temporarily. This advice has been considered a warning about the recent overheating issues that have been reported about the recent iPhone 3GS.
Apples iPod series also suffered operating symptoms when being used in hot or cold weather usually meaning that the iPod battery would not reach its maximum capacity. These problems have obviously not gone away for Apple’s new iPhone series and in fact may be worse than previously devices. This statement comes only days after a huge number of customers reported experiencing overheating problems.
